الأخـوة أعـضـاء الجـالـيـة والـطـلبـة
في إطار تقديم أفضل الخدمات ، وتسهيلاً للإجراءات الإدارية ، فلقد قامت الشؤون القنصلية بإجراء بعض التعديلات على بعض المعاملات القنصلية على موقع الخدمة وذلك على النحو التالي:-
1. شهائد الميلاد لمواطنين مواليد أمريكا ، تكتفي الشؤون القنصلية بالشهادة الأصلية ولا داعي للتصديق عليها من محرر عقود Notary Public.
2. فيما يتعلق بالتوكيلات الخاصة والعامة تكتفي الشؤون القنصلية بختم محرر العقود على التوكيل فقط لمن يرسل التوكيلات بالبريد ، ويستثنى من هذا الشرط من يتمكن من الحضور شخصياً للشؤون القنصلية. (رسوم التصديق 20$ عشرون دولار).
3. نموذج تسجيل الليبيين المقيمين بالخارج يملأ لمرة واحدة مالم يستجد تغيير في البيانات ، كمكان الإقامة "مثلاً".
4. كما يمكنكم توجيه بريدكم مباشرةً على عنوان الشؤون القنصلية وهو نفس عنوان المكتب الشعبي مع كتابة Suite رقم 705.
5. وكذلك على أننا في خدمة أفراد الجالية والطلبة وتهمنا ملاحظاتكم وإقتراحاتكم

Libyan conference on Darfur is successful

The Secretary of African Union Affairs said on Sunday that Darfur conference which held in Libya was successful.

In a press conference with the two envoys of the African Union, Salem Ahmed Salem and the UN Secretary General, Ian Ellison, he said the conference was a message addressed to the Sudanese rivals to resort to the peace option.

The Leader of the Revolution received Wednesday evening the Portuguese State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Luis Marco Philippe and his accompanying delegation. During this audience, the Portuguese State Minister praised the Leader's pioneering role in establishing the Great African Union and his continuous endeavors to establish peace and secure stability in the African continent.

Foreigners leaving Libya not true, says source

A source at the Manpower and Training has refuted some news reports that a great number of foreigners departed Libya.

The source pointed out that the arrival and departure of foreigner is as normal as before.

Libya’s tourist projects cost 4,771,560,700 billion Dinar

Tourism investment in Libya has attracted more than 73 national and foreign investors last year, the General Board of Tourism reported.

	Libya says no smoking in public places. The General People’s Committee has banned smoking in public places, cinemas, public transportation, airports, hospitals, schools and educational institutions.
	125,480 tourists visited Libya in 2006. The number of tourists who visited Libya in 2006 has reached 125,480 tourists, the General Board for Tourism have announced.
